El Rol del Gobierno Local durante una Emergencia Declarada a Nivel Federal en Puerto Rico

Maratón de Preparación del Caribe – Oficina del Caribe en Puerto Rico de FEMA R2

La División de Preparación Nacional de la Oficina del Caribe en PR de FEMA Region 2, en colaboración con el Departamento de Salud y Servicios Humanos (HHS, por sus siglas en inglés) de EE.UU., le invitan a este seminario especial donde compartiremos con lideres del Departamento de Salud de Puerto Rico y el Negociado para el Manejo de Emergencias y la Administración de Desastres (NMEAD) de Puerto Rico. Estos describirán las iniciativas y proyectos de preparación que están llevando a cabo en atención a la temporada de huracanes para este 2021, y el contexto único de la respuesta durante COVID-19. Estos también compartirán las lecciones aprendidas de las actividades de respuesta a los huracanes Irma y María.

El evento será ofrecido en español, pero tendremos subtítulos en vivo en inglés.

Caribbean Area Preparedness Marathon - FEMA R2 | Puerto Rico Caribbean Area Office

The National Preparedness Division of the FEMA Region 2 Puerto Rico Caribbean Area Office, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), invites you to this special virtual seminar where we will host leadership from the Puerto Rico Department of Health and the Puerto Rico Emergency Management Bureau (PREMB). They will describe the preparedness initiatives and projects they are undertaking in response to the 2021 hurricane season, and the unique context of the response during COVID-19. They will also share lessons learned from the response activities to Hurricanes Irma and Maria.

IMPORTANT: The event will be offered in Spanish, but live subtitles will be available in English.

WHEN: Tomorrow, Friday April 30, 2021 from 11:00AM to 12:00PM ET
